1. General Rules
- Participants can compete individually or in teams of 2–3 members.
- The contest will have three rounds, each increasing in difficulty.
- Use of the internet, mobile phones, or external resources is strictly prohibited (unless explicitly allowed by organizers).
- Only the tools and hints provided by the organizers may be used.
- Time limits will be strictly followed for each round.
- Any malpractice or unfair means will lead to disqualification.
- The decisions of the judges/organizers will be final and binding.
- Participants must have basic knowledge of Formula 1 (F1) in general, as some clues or references may be F1-themed.
- Prize money may vary based on the number of participating teams.
2. Round Rules
Round 1 – Warm-Up Lap (10 minutes)
Solve a set of simple encrypted words/phrases.
Standard ciphers like Caesar, Atbash, or substitution may be used.
Top-scoring/fastest teams qualify for Round
Round 2 – Pit Stop Challenge (10 minutes)
Participants will receive a small encrypted programming code.
Multiple clues and hints will be given to assist decryption.
Accuracy and speed both matter for qualification.
Round 3 – Final Lap (30 minutes)
A complex encrypted programming code must be solved.
Fewer clues will be provided; logical thinking and cryptography skills are key.
The first team to successfully decrypt the code, or the team with the most progress at the end of time, wins.
3. Evaluation Criteria
- Accuracy of decrypted text/code.
- Time taken to solve each round.
- Error count (applicable for coding-based rounds).
