1. General Rules
- Each participant must register and bring their college ID card for verification.
- Participants must report at least 10 minutes before the event starts.
- Any disputes must be raised immediately during the event; later complaints will not be entertained.
- Price money is variable according to the number of participants of this event.
- Electronic devices, external help, or internet use (other than the provided event materials) are strictly prohibited.
- Participants must respect time limits strictly. Late submissions or trades after the time ends will not be counted.
- Any form of malpractice, collusion, or tampering with sheets leads to direct disqualification.
- Participants must not disturb or distract others during mini games or trading sessions.
- Judges’/Organizers’ decision is final and binding.
- In case of technical issues, organizers reserve the right to pause, reschedule, or adjust scoring fairly.
2. Trading Rules
- This is a simulation-based competition for individual participation, no real money or actual stocks are involved.
- Trading will be done using 10 predefined F1 team stocks only.
- Each participant starts with ₹10,000 virtual money.
- The event consists of:
- 3 trading sessions (15 minutes each).
- 2 mini games (speed typing + debugging), placed between sessions.
- 5-minute break after each mini game. Breaks are strictly 5 minutes only; late return = deduction of ₹500 virtual money.
- Stock prices will fluctuate throughout session.
- Participants cannot trade outside the given stocks or borrow/swap money with other participants.
- Short selling, fake entries = immediate disqualification.
- At the end of Session 3, total profit made will be considered as the participants’ total portfolio value.
- If there is a tie, participants’ total portfolio value = profit + total number of stocks will be considered as tie breaker.
3. Mini Games
- A list of paragraph/sentences with different bonus money will be given.
- Participants must type exactly as written — no spelling/grammar mistakes allowed.
- Only fully correct paragraph/sentences will be awarded bonus.
- Only paragraph/sentence typed within the time limit will be considered for bonus evaluation.
- No external typing tools, autocorrect software, or devices (other than the provided event materials) allowed
- Participants will be given a code with intentional errors.
- Each error will carry specific bonus, clearly mentioned on the sheet.
- Correctly identifying and fixing errors = bonus earned.
- Unclear or incorrect fixes = no bonus.
- If every error is debugged and the program is running perfectly extra bonus will be awarded.
- Only the errors fixed within the time limit will be considered for bonus evaluation.
- The given code should not be changed except for debugging purpose.
- Participants cannot copy from others or use external references.
- The participant who made the highest profit(Profit=money made from trading + Bonus from mini games) wins.
- Mini game points will be converted into bonus money and added to trading capital for the next session.
- If two participants finish with the same total profit:
- Tie-breaker 1: Number of stocks held at the end (more = better).
- Tie-breaker 2: Higher mini game score average.
